About Camp Otto

Camp Otto is situated on 44 beautiful, rolling wooded acres just 45 minutes west of Indianapolis in Cloverdale, Indiana. Camp Otto is situated on 44 beautiful, rolling wooded acres just 45 minutes west of Indianapolis in Cloverdale, Indiana. The property has a seven acre lake, hiking trails, athletic fields, basketball courts, grand lodge, recreation areas and rustic cabins.

The camp has been in operation since the mid-40s, where it began as Camp Quadrille, a fishing camp. After that, it operated as a basketball camp for the North Central High School Basketball team coach, Arlan Licklighter. In 1965, the Meridian Street United Methodist Church purchased the camp and re-named it Camp Otto, in honor of the Otto family who contributed a significant amount to their youth ministry. In 2007, the Church sold the camp to the Tunnell-Munoz family in order to pursue other church interests.

We plan to continue operating Camp Otto as a camp and group retreat center with a focus on the homeschool families in the Midwest region. Camp Otto is a place where families and children can come together to learn and grow in a unique, peaceful environment.

We offer family camps, summer youth camps, facilities rentals, group and corporate retreats, weddings, reunions, anniversaries and corporate events.

Camp Otto is a wonderful place to create lasting memories, and we welcome those who would like to experience all it has to offer. Please click on the related links in the navigation bar to learn more about our programs and services.
